How to book

Venue description

There are 6 steps up, with handrails, to the main entrance, then swing doors into the foyer. A ramp is situated to the far right of the doors near to the entrance to Breezes.  Two sets of double doors give access to the rear of the stalls, which slopes down (no stairs) to the front row.  There is a lift, or a flight of 22 steps, from the foyer to the circle bar.  From the bar there are two entrances to the circle, both with double swing doors and 11 steps to a centre gangway, from which there are 6 steps down to the front row and 5 steps up to the back row. 

There is also a Café/Bar/Bistro linked to the theatre, which is fully accessible to the disabled and wheelchair users.

The box office is situated on the road side of the building with two flat entrances with heavy swing doors, automatic opening doors are situated to the left of the box office operated by pressing the red button on the wall the counter is 90 cms high, with a writing shelf situated in the middle of the 2 sales counters, The rows with better leg room in the stalls are the front row, V36/42, all side gangway seats and Circle row G.

 

Deaf/Hard of Hearing 

Infra-red hearing system installed, please ask for a headset at the sweet kiosk in the foyer (Available for a refundable £5 deposit).

Visually impaired

Guide dogs are allowed into the auditorium.  Please book early if you wish to sit near the front.

 

Wheelchair users/Limited mobility

Access to foyer via ramp to the right of main front steps. Or via a side entrance situated by the box office (please note that this entrance is in use half an hour before the performance begins). Maximum five wheelchairs per performance or easy transference to all gangway seats in the stalls if preferred, as there are no stairs.  Wheelchair spaces are G7, G36, T38, T39, T40. Seating for carers and companions on T36, T42, R36, R37, R38, R39, R40, R41, R42, H36, H37, G6 and G7.

 

Adapted toilets

From stalls wheelchair spaces through fire exit on the right, also from main foyer through double swing doors through to Café/Bar/Bistro.

 

 

 

Non-adapted toilets

Ground floor-Ladies to the left through coffee bar, down 16 steps or through double swing doors to the right to Café/Bar/Bistro.

First floor- Ladies to the right of the bar, Gents to the left of the bar or through double swing doors to Café/Bar/Bistro upper deck.

 

Bar facilities

Main theatre bar is on the first floor (circle level) and is 115cms high.

Coffee bar on ground floor to the left of the foyer and is 90cms high.

Breezes ground floor bar accessible to the right of main foyer, Breezes top bar located off the theatre bar to the right, both are 104cms high

“BREEZES” Café/Bar/Bistro is situated on the seaside of the theatre and is fully accessible on both levels from outside and inside the theatre.

 

Concessions

Various concessions available on most performances. Please ask at the box office when booking.

 

Transport

Railway station approximately ½ mile along sea front road, regular bus services run past the theatre with stops close by.

 

Car parking

There is limited disabled parking outside Mojo's. This is about 5 minutes walk to the Theatre.

Nearest car parks are the Marina or the multi storey in Fleet Walk, both a five-minute
